The San Diego & Imperial Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network is primarily funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration via a cooperative agreement and the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development via grants.  The network provides free business advising, on-demand, and live business workshops.

SCORE is a national, non-profit association of active and retired business men and women who volunteer to share their expertise with small businesses, as well as new business start-ups, to help them grow and prosper. SCORE offers one-on-one, confidential business counseling at various locations throughout San Diego County, at a client’s place of business, and by email.

Office Counseling: Meet with an experienced SCORE adviser for a confidential, one-on-one counseling session at the Escondido Chamber office.

  • Field Counseling: SCORE counselors will also meet with you at your place of business for an in-depth assessment of your needs. Additional counseling sessions are always free of charge.
  • Online Counseling: Search our national database for a SCORE online counselor at www.sandiego.score.org.
